Archaeometry studies
Archaeometry analysis in art and cultural heritage works by using scanning electron microscopy, spectroscopic techniques, methods of thermal analysis and X-rays. Methods are combined to receive an integrated information output. Characterization and identification of pigments composition, painting substrates and geological samples Composition and annealing temperatures of ceramics Determination of fibers and pigments for ceramics dyes Properties evaluation and estimation for conservation materials Evaluation of the conditions of old maps, parchments and leather works Estimations on the surface morphology, the composition and the conservation conditions of coins and other metallic works Different categories of works are studied including paintings, ceramics, structural and precious stones, mosaics, papers, parchments, textiles/fibers, metals etc. Publications 1 .
